Skateboard pedalboard
Skateboard pedalboard
This all started when I sucked at playing sports and bought my own Playstation 2
Walls full of games so tell me which one should i choose
I owned every THPS all the way from 3 to underground 2
Got a little too inspired from what Mullen could do
And I could barely ollie in the grass
I was too afraid of the concrete and falling on my ass
Instead of shredding streets, I was reenacting cutscenes
From tony hawks underground 1 all by myself
Skateboard Pedalboard
Skateboard Pedalboard
Take me back to Christmas morning when I opened up my big box
I got a new skateboard along with shoes to go with my socks
First things first I have to take a picture
Gotta prove to all the kids that I’m not a poser
But I was and I still am
The severe lack of improvement was getting so bland
But lucky for me I found my new distraction
Took solace in the world of guitar hero 3
Then my dad
Asked my what I wanted for my birthday growing up
Fi nal ly
I get to make a big decision of my very own
Now I see
The ultimatum that is forming and is taking place
Rock band or
I build a ramp in the back yard so you can skate all day
Don’t you know what I had to choose
Rock band 1 and rock band 2
Finally I had to invest
In a real one
And I finally got good at something!
4 years the cover band blues
I put you away when I met all my new friends
I just had to take you back after taking you for granted
And in true D I Y I tore you apart
now you're my
Frankenstein monster!
Frankenstein monster!
Skateboard Pedalboard, skateboard pedalboard
I'm sorry I removed your trucks and screws
Skateboard Pedalboard, skateboard pedalboard
By the time you hear this song I'll be on to something new

Bomb Threat Checklist
02:39
|
|||
You got a bomb threat checklist
Under the phone on top of your desk
In your nice cool office
Just waiting for the call
Do they sound nervous
Or is it automated
Or is there a kid at the other end of it
Don’t tell the other kids
You wouldn’t want them to catch wind of this
Don’t tell the parents
Lets try to handle this ourselves
The only question is
Who gets to stand guard
Who gets paid enough for this
Not me
Not me!
Instead of investing In a government issued
8 by 11 slip of cheap copy paper
That you got from staples or some other manufacturer
You could think about the children cause without them
You wouldn’t have a home, or have a building
Is that a salad don’t forget the dressing
So you can make healthy decisions
And make proper revisions
And miss the fucking trash can
They don’t make enough coffee for this summer
All of this complaining sounds just like a song I wrote before
Ba da ba da ba da da da
They don’t make enough coffee for this summer
This bummer called my life is far from over
Maybe I’ll just slip and fall on the new gym floor

Trampolinehead
04:20
|
|||
I know what I need now to be in a rock band
Give 10 dollars to the door
Give it to the bouncer man
Go up and have a drink if you’re 21
If you’re under get the hell out cuz this shows 21 plus
Trampoline
Trampoline head
Jumping to conclusions
Bouncy head filled with delusions
He jumps into the air without a care
Too bad no one will catch him
Trampoline
Trampoline head
Missed his frontflip
Got up too quick
No safety net
Now he’s got spins
Trampoline
Trampoline head
Jumping to conclusions
Bouncy head filled with delusions
He jumps into the air without a care
Too bad no one will catch him
Trampoline
Trampoline head
He’s Missing his frontflip
Got up too quick
No safety net
Wake him up
His ride is here

One Man Down

Searching through the glass that's left behind
We think It's just too late to get out this time
we try to put the pieces back together
reflections are distorted, It's breaking up the sound
You've lost you're way and you're wrapped up
In you're clichés and It's messed up
You're smothering and broken down
you need to find You're way out
Shifting through the casualties we find
A lack of recollection of the times
when everything we did just seemed to make sense
the memories are scattered sentiment lost and found
You've lost you're way and you're wrapped up
In you're clichés and It's messed up
You're smothering and broken down
you need to find You're way out
skies are clearing
don't stop dreaming
face these demons
so you can close you're eyes and get to sleep again
these lines don't convey
how a friendship was thrown to the wayside
all the times that we share the troubles we bare
may never go away

Flat Earth Theory

Standing at the edge of the world again
Pushed and now I’m falling
Back up your theories with science and facts
No gravity and now you’re stalling
There's a conversation to be had
Involving misdirected punishment
with painted on faces
invoking manufactured discontent
UFO’s and Bigfoot and the whole lot
An assortment of monsters
All to further prove
I am useful to you
There's a conversation to be had
Involving misdirected punishment
with painted on faces
invoking manufactured discontent
Could I have been capable
of painting this myself
you're acrylic words weren't so clear
mixing colors mixing stories
Figurines, mannequins, UFO's
an assortment of other monsters
Figurines, mannequins, UFO's
an assortment of other monsters
Aliens, Flail Snails', Reptilicus
an assortment of other monsters
Demogorgon's, Doppelgangers, Dragon Turtles
an assortment of other monsters

City Trial

|

Nostalgia rushes through my brain
faster than a wheelie bike
It's been 12 years
give or take
remember the sound
(remember the sound, In you're head)
Afternoons after school
sitting eyes glued to the screen
peanut butter apple slices
hypersonic star machines
lost in dreams soaring towards skies above
aiming high to the sky
gliding, soaring, and racing
so fast
I feel at home under city rooftops
I feel at home above the streets
Afternoons after school
sitting eyes glued to the screen
peanut butter apple slices
hypersonic star machines
lost in dreams soaring towards skies above
aiming high to the sky
King I am the king
I am the king I am the kind
of everything
peanut butter apple slices
hypersonic star machines
King I am the king
I am the king I am the kind
of everything

New York (The State)
03:12
|
|||
I'm sick of writing shit that I find generic
stuck with bad habits thumb touching index
I scramble to my phone cuz I am an addict
to consult with people that I don't hang out with
I'll just sit and listen to my record collection
Drink a few beers and wonder where the time went
check discogs and open up my want list
only to close it cuz I cant afford it
I would write more, but I have to work this
job that people tell me is pointless I get it
you work so much harder doing manual labor
am I supposed to feel bad cuz guess what I don't care
wake up 12:30 another fucked morning
go downstairs and do more of nothing
repeat the mantra of this blunt force trauma
I would run away but I'd trigger my asthma
Where's the hook
It's supposed to be right here
Upstate NY
Where the hell is that
Where's the hook
We've already been there
Upstate NY
nobody lives here
Fuck you're job
Keep working for a living
there's no way out
You're not fucking dreaming

Tiny House Spaceship
03:42
|
|||
Ti Do thank you for giving Mi Sol many answers to my
existential questions I had no answers
but now I've got a purpose
to climb into that space ship
thank you for the applesauce and salad bar
and I can't wait to get to sleep and
if I'm still alive, make sure that you suffocate me
so I can ascend, give them my 5 dollars so I can stay
Take my apple color it white
strapping on my Nike's I'm ready to take flight
up to that spaceship a place to call home
I'm getting sick and tired of being on my own
that's why I'm giving you the call
Tito's thank you for giving me so many fucking headaches
I'm out of saltine crack of dawn, and I got work this morning
reading charts is boring I'll just get to throwing
myself another party in the tiny house
and I can't wait to pass the fuck out on the
chair next to Brian, Isaiah's throwing up again
and we can be friends, just as long as you love Guinness
Ti Do, Mi Sol)
Thank you
(Many Answers)
For the headaches
(to my questions)
I have work I have work
(to my questions)
In the morning In the morning
I can't seem to shake these empty feelings
but I don't care as long as we're together
can't seem to shake these empty feelings
but I don't care
This tiny house in the backyard
Is the perfect place to disregard
let's grab some friends, and come along
Let's ascend into the stars
I FUCKING LOVE GUINNESS (jen-uh-see)

Eventide
06:31
|
|||
We get by underneath the stars aligned
all through the sands of time
troubles that we leave behind
to let the sun break through
and even if we think we know
just what we have to do
use some time to think it through
Keep in touch
you're working way too much
trust yourself
and maybe get some help
do your best
or maybe get some rest
or do your worst
and watch the sunset on everything
and get lost inside the darkness
or find your light in the distance
We get by the boy you knew has all grown up
and without you I'm feeling stuck
I know that you'd be wishing me the best of luck in this
Don't ever take your friends for granted
don't wait until they're gone
to tell them that they made you strong
Keep in touch
you're working way too much
trust yourself
and maybe get some help
do your best
or maybe get some rest
or do your worst
and watch the sunset on everything
and get lost inside the darkness
or find your light in the distance
And If you can't find it then try looking inward
I know that it's hard when there's no one around
to pick up the pieces of this broken puzzle
I know that it's hard when there's no-one around
so start making your way through the ghost of the crowd
and remember what it felt like to create your own sound
And If you can't find it then try looking inward
I know that it's hard when there's no one around
to pick up the pieces of this broken puzzle
I know that it's hard when there's no-one around
so start making your way through the ghost of the crowd
