This all started when I sucked at playing sports and bought my own Playstation 2
Walls full of games so tell me which one should i choose
I owned every THPS all the way from 3 to underground 2
Got a little too inspired from what Mullen could do

And I could barely ollie in the grass
I was too afraid of the concrete and falling on my ass
Instead of shredding streets, I was reenacting cutscenes
From tony hawks underground 1 all by myself

Take me back to Christmas morning when I opened up my big box
I got a new skateboard along with shoes to go with my socks
First things first I have to take a picture
Gotta prove to all the kids that I’m not a poser

But I was and I still am
The severe lack of improvement was getting so bland
But lucky for me I found my new distraction
Took solace in the world of guitar hero 3

Then my dad
Asked my what I wanted for my birthday growing up
Fi nal ly
I get to make a big decision of my very own
Now I see
The ultimatum that is forming and is taking place
Rock band or
I build a ramp in the back yard so you can skate all day

Rock band 1 and rock band 2
Finally I had to invest
In a real one

And I finally got good at something!
